Virtual viewings platform launches £1 a room deal for agents during lockdown
EyeSpy360 says it wants to help agents offer vendors and landlords virtual tours 'at cost' as the new lockdown looms.
A leading virtual tours platform has reduced the price of its service to ‘at cost’ in order to help sales and letting agents during the looming lockdown in England.
New customers who sign up will be able to use the service for £1 per photograph and without having to the pay the platform’s usual £19.99 monthly subscription. This means for example that a virtual tour for a two-bedroom, two reception apartment will cost just £4.
Its founder Andrew Nicholls (pictured, above) says the offer includes all of its usually charged-for services including hosting, unlimited views, narrated tours, live tours with up to eight people and floor plans.
“We want to support the property industry this latest lockdown and moving forward too,” says Nicholls.
“We believe online viewings and 360 tours are an integral part of the decision making process and a way to pre-qualify customers prior to a physical viewing.”
Nicholls also says virtual tours are a simple for agents to cut their carbon footprint because, he claims, 60-70% of viewings do not lead to a property sale but often require all those attending to drive in their petrol cars to the address.
Shaun Macnamara (left) Head of UK Residential Sales at CBRE, says: “We started using EyeSpy360’s Virtual Tour Platform during the previous lockdown and have continued to do so ever since.
“Their tours and live viewings feature have allowed us to maintain operational stability during these turbulent times.”
Jason Bellwood, Lettings Manager at Sugarhouse Property in Leeds, says: “We were looking at 360 tours around a year ago before the pandemic hit.
“But at the time we decided not to go for it, but a lot has happened since then and luckily we started shooting our tours early enough to have had success in the last six months.”
