Estate agency marketing platform BriefYourMarket has acquired leading live chat provider Yomdel for an undisclosed sum.
Founded in 2014 by CEO Andy Soloman (main pic, left), Yomdel has grown to become a well-known brand in the property sector as more and more agencies have moved to offer a 24-hour lead capturing service to their businesses via their websites.
BriefYourMarket was established in 2008 by Damon Bullimore (main pic, centre) and Rick Palmer, both of whom held senior positions at Midlands estate agency Ashley Adams prior to starting up the company.
In 2019 the company received an undisclosed but significant investment from former LSL director and co-founder David Newnes.
Tim Breden, COO at Yomdel (main pic, right) says: “We’re incredibly proud of the business we’ve built. We have always said if we were going to do anything like this, it had to be with the right partner; with the resources and knowledge to deliver on the technological plans we have held for this business.
“When BriefYourMarket approached us and shared their vision and the passion we knew that it was going to be a win-win for both of us and, most importantly, for our many customers and partners.”
Bullimore adds: “We’ve long since admired the team at Yomdel and given the synergy of the services we provide and visions for both companies, they’ve been on our radar for a long time.”
Following the acquisition, Andy Soloman and Tim Breden will continue to lead Yomdel as well as supporting the BriefYourMarket management team.
