Estate agent Andrew Le Page was booted off TV’s Love Island last night after failing to grab the top £50,000 prize with partner Tasha Ghouri after they came fourth in the competition.

Despite failing to scoop the loot, Le Page, who entered Love Island 2022 looking for love, may well have found it after he coupled with Ghouri from North Yorkshire.

Ghouri made history in the villa when she became the first deaf contestant in series eight of the hugely popular reality show.  The 23-year-old model and dancer grew up in Thirsk, which is less than an hour’s drive from Leeds.

Before entering the villa, the dancer spoke of her “shambles” of a dating life and was searching for “the one”.

She made fellow contestant and first love Le Page, 27, her first-ever boyfriend after months of flirting.

I’m so grateful to be here and the goal for me was never to be in the final, but to find a girl like Tasha so I feel like I have won anyway.”

The on and off again couple had their fair share of explosive rows – especially after they both returned from Casa Amor with new partners, but they both decided to give their relationship another go.

Le Page, who has also worked as a model and fitness instructor, was on Instagram prior to entering the villa and had over six thousand followers. Since appearing on the show he now has 281,000 followers.

His estate agency work experience has been at Better Homes, a Dubai-based firm which is involved in selling and renting the emirate’s towering apartment blocks and upmarket detached villas.

Millions of pounds

After losing the final last night he told host Laura Whitmore, “I’m so grateful to be here and the goal for me was never to be in the final, but to find a girl like Tasha so I feel like I have won anyway.

“Tasha was the first girl that I saw and I thought she was absolutely stunning. As soon as I was by her side, she said a little joke and I was put at ease.”

The couple plan to move in together in London – hopefully he will have the contacts to find the right home.

Ekin-Su Culculoglu and lover Davide Sanclimenti, both 27, won the contest and are now expected to make millions of pounds in endorsements.
