SHOCKED: Love Island’s estate agent leaves after public vote
Catherine Agbaje, who works for south London agency Kalmars, is home now after departing from the blockbuster show.

Love Island’s estate agent contestant Catherine Agbaje has been voted off the hit ITV show.
Agbaje, who is a commercial specialist with south London agency Kalmars, had featured on the programme for more than a month before departing last week.
The public decided Agbaje and her partner Elom Ahlijah-Wilson were the least compatible couple.

When asked if she was surprised to be leaving Love Island, she said: “Massively. It wasn’t something I saw coming at all.
“When I heard our names I was shocked because I know what me and Elom have is genuine and we are so compatible.”
But she was still happy: “So glad to be back home to all my family and friends! What a surreal experience which I am so grateful for.”
Two degrees
She joined Kalmars early last year after completing a masters degree in real estate development at the University of Greenwich.
Agbaje, who is from Dublin, was recommended to Kalmars by one of her university course lecturers. She has two degrees, one in psychology and sociology, as well as a masters in real estate.
Incredibly excited

Sebastian Kalmar, residential director at Kalmars, told The Neg when she was selected as a contestant on Love Island, that everyone at the company was “incredibly excited and supportive” of Agbaje.
She follows Samie Elishi, another estate agent, who finished third in the last series of Love Island with her footballer partner Tom Clare.
Andrew Le Page from Guernsey, who worked in sales and lettings in Dubai, featured last year. In 2021 agents Faye Winter from Exeter, who also came third, and Tyler Cruickshank from Croydon, Surrey, were both contestants.
