Sebastian Kalmar, residential director at Kalmars, tells The Neg that everyone at the company was “incredibly excited and supportive” of Agbaje. “We are hoping that she will do very well,” he says.

When contacted by The Neg, Kalmar said: “We are a little bit short staffed today, I have one on their lunchbreak and one on Love Island!”

Agbaje, who is aged 22 and from Dublin, is planning to rejoin the firm after her stint on Love Island, but it depends on how well she does, Kalmar says.

She was recommended to Kalmars by one of her university course lecturers. She has two degrees, one in psychology and sociology, as well as a masters in real estate.

‘Always laughing’

Agbaje says she can “chat your ears off”, and is “always smiling, always happy, always laughing”.

She follows Samie Elishi, another estate agent, who finished third in the last series of Love Island with her footballer partner Tom Clare after the public voted for their favourite couple.

Andrew Le Page from Guernsey, who worked in sales and lettings in Dubai, featured last year. In 2021 agents Faye Winter from Exeter, who also came third, and Tyler Cruickshank from Croydon, Surrey, were both contestants.

Love Island will be screened from Monday 5 June at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
