Winkworth has expanded its regional footprint into Stratford-upon-Avon and the North Cotswolds following the acquisition of the residential arm of independent agency, Peter Clarke.

The deal, led by franchise owner Nick Martiny Roberts, significantly strengthens the company’s presence across Stratford-upon-Avon, Wellesbourne, Shipston-on-Stour and Chipping Campden. The Peter Clarke branch in Leamington Spa will now operate as Winkworth Leamington Spa.

Nick, who launched Leamington Spa in 2024, said: “This is a significant expansion for us and we are delighted that an existing successful business with an excellent reputation and track record is now becoming part of the Winkworth network.

“Peter Clarke is a highly respected business and this will give Winkworth an impressive market share in the region. We will be continuing to reflect the family ethos of Peter Clarke. Winkworth is a family-owned business and I will be joined by my father Paul, in a new role as executive chairman of our expanded business.”

The Stratford-upon-Avon office will be known as Peter Clarke in association with Winkworth, and there will also be other offices across South Warwickshire and the North Cotswolds in strategic locations.

All existing Peter Clarke staff will remain, with Michael Hawkins becoming Operations Director and Barney Smith appointed Area Sales Director.
