Big-hearted estate agents are invited to join a walking challenge in memory of a friend and colleague who died from breast cancer.

Women in Estate Agency (WiEA) and mentoring charity Agents Together are joining forces for a sector-wide charity walk in remembrance of Sarah Edmundson (pictured).

Raise funds

The two organisations have created ‘WiEA Together’, a joint team taking part in the Thames Path Ultra Challenge on Saturday 12 September to raise money for those affected by breast cancer.

Agents, suppliers and supporters from across the property sector are invited to walk 25km or 50km, collecting funds for leading breast cancer charity Breast Cancer Now.

Much-loved

Edmundson was the much-loved Chief Executive of Agents Together and a founding board member of WiEA.

Known for her warmth, honesty and deep commitment to supporting others, she left a lasting mark on both organisations and the wider property industry.

Vicky Bibiris, Chair of Ambassadors at Agents Together, says: “Sarah believed in people. She believed in listening properly, supporting honestly and creating spaces where estate agents could feel less alone.

“Walking alongside Women in Estate Agency feels incredibly fitting because both communities share that same purpose.”

She went on to say: “Anyone from across the property sector is welcome to join us. Whether you knew Sarah, have been affected by breast cancer, or simply want to spend a day doing something meaningful, we’d love you to walk with us.”
