‘Europe’s largest’ proptech gathering set to visit London next year

More than 3,000 delegates are expected to attend PropTech Connect, with over 100 companies participating including Rightmove.

A giant proptech conference being billed as Europe’s largest is set to take place in London next year.

PropTech Connect, a new company based in the capital, is behind the huge gathering that boasts more than 3,000 attendees and over 100 companies taking part.

In a clear sign that the proptech industry continues to flourish, the conference is being launched with confidence that it will attract a lot of interest.

Companies being represented at the two-day event in September include Rightmove, Cushman & Wakefield, Knight Frank, JLL, Savills and US-based Greystar.

An agenda for the conference includes over 100 speakers, with 6,000 meetings organised.

Driving investment

Terence Burrows, CCO at PropTech Connect, says: “In 2023, we will bring together 3,000 senior industry execs in London – assisting incumbents on their digital transformation journeys and driving investments in emerging technologies and innovations.”

“PropTech Connect was founded to become the #1 catalyst of Real Estate innovation across the globe.

“We do this by creating and curating actionable insights aimed at driving real estate innovation. PropTech Connect also serves as the premier platform for bringing together the Real Estate ecosystem – facilitating the creation of new partnerships and future collaboration,” he says.

PropTech Connect is being held at the Intercontinental Hotel (main picture), next to the O2 Arena in Greenwich, on 6-7 September, 2023.

  1. I know it is being billed as the largest European Proptech conference, but if they actually get 3,000 people to attend, how do they square that claim with MIPIM which is is a 4-day real estate exhibition, conference and networking event gathering 26,800 international property professionals, in Cannes and has been going since 1991. Maybe Cannes is not in Europe anymore – thoughts David?

Also there is the London Proptech Show in February 2023, which I know will have a large audience, on both days, as I Chair the panel “Hybrid Offices-Workplaces For Modern Occupiers” and am on the panel of “Business driving factors & hurdles ahead for the Prop Tech Startups”.

Do not get me wrong now the digital transformation of realestate has post Covid moved out of the shadows, the more we get commercial ideation going by having key people meet up and learn and discuss the better.
