Former estate and letting agent turned celebrity Faye Winter is whisking up her career credentials as a wannabe chef.

The ex-Love Island star – the most complained about in the 2021 series – is now starring on Celebrity Masterchef alongside a slew of celebrities including McFly’s Danny Jones, comedian Paul Chuckle and ex-boxer Chris Eubank.

Before Love Island Winter was an estate agent and lettings property manager for Devon Firm East of Exe. And before that show aired she said: “I’m a lettings manager and I’ve got an amazing team. I go out and do valuations, win business for the company and I’ll do the odd viewing and find tenants.

My main role is the sales side of things. I absolutely love it! I’ve actually only taken a sabbatical from work because in my ideal world, I’d love to go back to work.”

But since reaching the final of the reality dating show she seems to have turned her back on the world of estate agency and gone on to work with companies such as McDonalds, Crocs, Ann Summers and other modelling work.

On Celebrity Masterchef last Thursday judges Gregg Wallace and John Torode tasked the celebrities with making a classic dessert called oeufs a la neige, which is a dessert consisting of meringue floating on crème anglaise.

Winter admitted she’d never made meringue before but remembered she needed to whisk the egg whites into stiff peaks.

WHIPPED

She confidently whipped up meringue before she moved on to making the custard and caramel.

The judges were stunned with her efforts. Gregg told Faye: “That looks great.”

John thought her custard was a “nice” consistency and felt the meringue was light.

Gregg agreed and said: “That’s the second good dessert you’ve done. You might be a pastry chef.”

You can watch Celebrity Masterchef on BBC One or BBC iPlayer.
