Jon Notley appointed by Connells Group as its new Commercial Director
Notley joins the agency giant permanently after six months' spent helping it integrate with new acquisition Countrywide.
Leading industry figure Jon Notley has joined estate agency giant Connells Group on a permanent footing as its Group Commercial Director.
The appointment follows a six-month period during which he has been working for the company as its interim project director, helping the agency integrate with Countrywide following its acquisition in March last year.
Prior to this, Notley had spent several years launching deposit alternative platform Zero Deposit, where he remains a director.
Notley has enjoyed a long career in the industry. In the early noughties, he joined FindaProperty.com working in sales just after it was snapped by The Digital Property Group which at the time also owned PrimeLocation.
Notley later jumped ship to the early incarnation of Zoopla before TDPG itself was bought by ZPG and, as the new portal grew, he rose to become its Chief Commercial Officer.
Zero Deposit
He then left in March 2017 to set up Zero Deposit although it was an amicable split as ZPG was an early backer of the service.
In his latest role, Notley takes on a range of responsibilities including heading up Connells Group’s conveyancing businesses, managing key commercial relationships and supporting the growth and development of the Group by identifying and leading acquisition and investment opportunities.
He will also take the lead on significant projects across the Group and joins the Connells board.
