BLOG: These 80 brilliant agents will give women a bigger industry voice

Some say that women can be hard to find as standard bearers of the industry, so a new list of female agents keen to represent property has now been established.

The world of property and estate agency can often be seen as a male-dominated environment, but there are many brilliant women in our industry with their own unique experience and viewpoints. We just need to ask them to share them.

It’s really important that we are represented fairly at industry events and on podcasts and panels so these viewpoints and this experience can be heard.

However, I often hear that organisers have difficulty finding women to talk publicly about their experience in property.

I have now put together a list of some 80 women keen to get the word out, borne from a LinkedIn post and the collaborative effort of many people in our industry, tagging numerous brilliant female property people.

Misconception

This serves as a transparent response to the misconception that women speakers are elusive and shows that there are so many women out there with great knowledge that they are happy to share.

The directory was created simply to make it easier for organisers to find female speakers to be involved in these events both online and offline.

I am committed to helping reshape the landscape of industry events by promoting gender equality and inclusivity.

By offering a platform for women to showcase their expertise and contribute to meaningful discussions, I hope this brings about a positive shift in how the property industry approaches representation and diversity.
