Women in Estate Agency group raises £70,000 for cancer charity
Group of 70 participants in an ultra walking challenge recently raised the cash both for Breast Cancer Now and in memory of the late Sarah Edmundson.

A group of 70 people from the estate agency world have raised £70,000 for Breast Cancer Now in memory of their friend and Women in Estate Agency board member, Sarah Edmundson.
The group, who all took part in the Lake District Ultra Challenge under the auspices of Women in Estate Agency, included Amy Shields of Smart Compliance, YOPA chief Verona Frankish, London agent Clare Hughes, recruiter Josh Rayner, Belvoir boss Ellie Hall, industry PR Kirsty Franks and MoveIQ MD Amanda Harvey.
Others doing the event included Angi Cooney, Elaine Penhaul, Stephen Brown, Sarah Brown, Vicky Bibris and Rob Watson.
Organised by Action Challenge, the Lake District Ultra Challenge required participants to tackle either a 29km 1st Quarter Challenge or a scenic 10km Ambleside Loop.
Phenomenal

“What an absolutely phenomenal weekend!” said Lucy Noonan (pictured, on left next to Ellie Hall) , Founder of Atomic Consultancy, Women in Estate Agency board member and the driving force behind the event’s organisation.
“Seeing 70 amazing people come together, pushing their limits, supporting one another, and doing it all with such spirit for Sarah and Breast Cancer Now, was truly humbling.
“The Lake District definitely tested us, but the energy, the laughs, and the sheer determination from everyone was incredible.
The funds raised will directly support Breast Cancer Now’s pioneering research and vital support services for people affected.
Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK and one in seven women in the UK will develop it during their lives.
Jade Bolton, Community Fundraiser at Breast Cancer Now, said: “We want to say a huge thank you to Women in Estate Agency for taking part in the Lake District Ultra Challenge to raise vital funds for Breast Cancer Now.
