Gary Hersham, the UK’s most famous estate agent, is to launch an upmarket property book this week during a glamorous launch party in London.

To be held at the St John’s Wood office of his company Beauchamp Estates, attendees are expected to include the many high-profile clients he’s worked for during his 40-plus years working within the prime property market.

Hersham says his book, which is called Anthology, looks at a selection of the extraordinary deals and clients he and his team have handled over the years including the homes of celebrities, aristocrats and royalty.

Hersham is to sign copies of the book at the event, which is also doubling as the firm’s summer garden party.

Billed as a ‘collection of luxury homes with history’, it will feature many of the £20-million-plus homes Beauchamp Estates has sold. One of his property reviews, 93 Eaton Square, has already been shared as a blog ahead of the book’s publication on Amazon.

But many people are hoping the tome will include the UK’s most expensive home, a £220 million mansion bought by Hong Kong tycoon Cheung Chung Kiu in January 2020.

It is not clear yet whether estate agent Hersham, who was recently profiled by The Guardian newspaper after one of its reporters spent several days shadowing him, will be using the book to reveal some of his insider knowledge and status as a minor celebrity in his own right.

This has included appearing in the BBC 2 TV show Under Offer in 2014, during which cameras followed the 69-year-old as he juggled clients, staff and phone calls.

The series came just a few months after he was mugged in central London, and unfortunately just before his actress daughter Gabriela’s wedding.
