Challenger portal signs up agents behind Say No To Rightmove campaign

Murray Lee and Paul Davies are leading by example and have recently signed up to use the challenger portal as they urge other agents to look at Rightmove alternatives.

ONEDOME portal

Challenger portal OneDome says it has signed up 2,000 branches to its service including two of the leading agencies behind the ‘Say No To Rightmove’ campaigns.

These are London agency Dreamview Estates and the At Home Estate & Letting Agency in Sussex both of which are involved in two of the campaigns attempting to rein-in the power of Rightmove.

Dreamview Estates is run by Murray Lee and heads up the Estate Agency Group, and At Home is run by Paul Davies and leads the Boycott Rightmove Facebook site.

Like many of the agencies and industry figures leading the charge to soften Rightmove’s influence, these two have been calling on agents to help support the raft of new ‘challenger’ portals’ that have emerged before and during the Covid Crisis.

OneDome has also attracted some large multi-branch agencies including Andrews Property Group, Arun Estates, Martyn Gerrard, Robinson Michael & Jackson, and Winkworth.

Best agents

“We are delighted to be working with some of the best agents in the country and continuing to drive portal costs down while generating a significant volume of leads,” says Babek Ismayil. “We are humbled by the positive response we have seen from the industry.”

His business has plenty of competition in the challenger portal field with a further five up and running and another three waiting in the wings to launch, The Negotiator has been told.

OneDome claims to be the only platform to offer estate agents a 100-year free-to-list contract and an optional profit share agreement, generating revenue for itself by working with agents to facilitate home moves.
