Big changes revealed at two leading national conveyancing firms
Both Shoosmiths and Taylor Rose have announced changes to their senior teams and businesses.
Two of the UK’s largest conveyancing firms have announced significant changes to their structure and senior teams.
Shoosmiths, one of the largest players in the market processing some 10,000 sales a year, has promoted partner Suman Dally who takes over from David Parton as Head of Conveyancing from 1st May 2021.
Parton is credited with growing the Shoosmiths conveyancing business including, in 2011, when it became the largest law firm accredited with the Law Society Conveyancing Quality Scheme. He is to remain with the business as its Divisional Head.
Dally (pictured) has been at Shoosmiths for 21 years prior to getting the to job.
“I am thrilled to be assuming the position of Head of Conveyancing at Shoosmiths. David has done a brilliant job of making Shoosmiths’ conveyancing department the success that it is today,” she says.
The other big changes are at leading firm McMillan Williams (MW) which was bought by Taylor Rose in May last year.
Following the acquisition, both firms are to united under a single brand, Taylor Rose MW, although the new graphic for the renamed operation makes it clear MW is the junior partner.
