Miles & Barr says its new sales and lettings signs, which were developed with Kremer Signs, are both green and more visible than its competitors' boards.

Leading South of England estate agency Miles & Barr has launched its new sales and lettings signboards featuring the use of sustainable materials and reflective materials that make them stand out at night.

Developed in partnership with Kremer Signs, they are the material output of the estate agency’s drive to lower its carbon footprint.

As well as a new ‘crown’ design the boards are manufactured from 100% recycled materials and use poles using wood from FSC certified woodlands.

They are also reflective, so they stand out during the day and night.

“The boards are just one way we can reduce our carbon footprint. It seemed fitting to jointly announce the board change with our logo refresh as we like to give our boards a new stand-out, conversational starting design update every few years.

“Our crown logo has become a familiar symbol to many, and we ensured we did not stray too far from the colourful crown that is widely recognised by our clients.

“The refreshed logo is a representation of our wish to continually stay with the times, modernise our brand and evolve as a business.”

Miles & Barr have won several gong recently, including last year a Bronze in The Negotiator Awards’  Estate Agency of the Year (Large) category. It could indeed be a contender for Sustainable Agent of the Year category this year, showing such strong commitments to carbon neutrality.

Founded in 1999, the agency has grown organically and through acquisitions to become a leader in Kent’s property market.

It is a multi-disciplinary firm with operations across 12 sales and three letting branches, as well as a head office located in Herne Bay and employs some 260 staff.
