The coffers may be rapidly emptying at Countrywide but its up-market estate agency Hamptons has plenty of cash to burn following the debut of its new TV advert during the festive break.

Hamptons TV ad will be the company’s first ever foray onto the gogglebox and is part of a new integrated campaign across all media to support its recent rebrand.

This saw the company drop ‘international’ from its name, have its logo revamped and a new tagline created – ‘the home experts’.

Hamptons’ TV ad plays on this theme and will be seen first on Boxing Day so, assuming you’ve actually managed to get together with your extended family, gather around to see the Hamptons debut.

1.43 million households

The TV campaign will run for a month and will be seen 730,000 times reaching 1.43 households.

The ads will only play on digital TV channels for viewers with smart televisions and will be ‘targeted’ at a home moving audience using demographic and location data.

“Our commercial is inspired by the people we meet every day and their different property needs, at various stages of their lives,” says Lesley Cairns, MD of Hamptons (pictured).

“We wanted to show that we really understand that buying or renting property isn’t just about bricks and mortar or the process, there’s so much more to it than that. Your home is important, it’s special and it’s a big part of your life.”

For those without the blessings of a digital TV, the ad can be seen on the Hamptons website as a ‘sneak peak’ before it launches.
