Alex Isidro has joined United Kingdom Sotheby’s International Realty (UKSIR) from rival Foxtons as the luxury London estate agency continues to sweep up the capital’s top agents.

Isidro joins as Chief Operating Officer after spending 12 years at Foxtons where he first started as a Move Consultant in 2011 before moving quickly through the ranks as Rare Move Consultant, Team Leader, Senior Team Leader, Divisional Manager, Operations Director, Director and latterly Senior Director.

His new role will see him tasked to use his wealth of expertise to optimise UKSIR’s operations and systems as well as spearheading the delivery of proprietary technologies designed to provide concierge-style, tailor-made experiences around buying, selling and renting luxury homes.

George Azar, Chief Executive and Chairman of UKSIR, says: “Alex brings a wealth of experience and expertise that will be instrumental in driving our company’s growth and operational excellence.

“We are confident that he will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organisation and further strengthening our position as a leader in the luxury real estate sector.

“We look forward to the valuable contributions he will make as we continue to elevate our standards and expand our horizons.”

Isidro (main picture) adds: “My goal is to bring immediate impact, leveraging my experience to contribute significantly to the growth and success of this esteemed organisation.

“I’m dedicated to fostering collaborative efforts with our exceptionally talented team, to elevate our operations collectively.”

And he adds: “This is such an exciting time for the business and I look forward to supporting UK Sotheby’s International Realty towards its mission of delivering unparalleled excellence to our valued clients and stakeholders.”

Isidro’s appointment is the latest in a long line of highflying hires that UKSIR has made during the second half of the year.

The Neg reported last month how Claire Reynolds had joined the luxury London estate agency as Managing Director from Savills and before that how UKSIR had recruited property experts Simon Burgoyne and James Gubbins from Prime Central London rival Knight Frank as well as strengthening its lettings team in the capital with a string of high flyers joining the luxury agency from rivals.

And we revealed how Luxury residential estate agency Rokstone was merging with UKSIR in a deal thought to be worth millions.
