Meet the soon-to-be celebrity ‘estate agent’ with no track record!

Married at First Sight contestant Tayah claims to work in Hertfordshire as an agent – but Channel 4 refuses to confirm if it's true or not.

A contestant in the upcoming TV series Married at First Site has claimed to be an estate agent in the publicity material provided by Channel 4 to the media.

But a search by The Neg has failed to find any evidence of her property industry claims.

The new series of the originally Australian and US reality TV series, which is about to hit our screens with a new series of UK singletons prepared to ‘marry’ someone without meeting them, has began publicity for the 16 people involved.

One of these is 25-year-old Tayah, pictured, who is billed as an ‘estate agent from Welwyn Garden City’.

The publicity blurb quotes her as saying: “My happy ever after would be that I’ve always wanted to get married and wanted kids. I’ve always wanted to be a young mum.”

Keen to celebrate members of the property industry who make it from branch to broadcasting fame, The Neg has tried to track down Tayah to find out about her industry experience and, hopefully, which estate agency she works for. But to no avail.

Data protection

The Neg asked Channel 4 to confirm whether her claim to be an estate agent is true but were told that the broadcaster was unable to provide anymore information as it would be ‘a breach of data protection’.

Given the format of the show, in which Tayah will marry someone who knows very little about her other than a first name and job, this was odd.

A LinkedIn profile under the name Tayah McCreith which matches the Instagram account linked to her publicity material makes no mention of being an estate agent but instead outlines her experience as a make-up artist and time working as BA cabin crew. Perhaps once the show is aired, more information on her property experience will emerge.
