Belvoir estate agency Newton Fallowell has named its franchisee of the year at an awards ceremony cancelled three times due to Covid.

He is Jason Treadwell, owner of three of the agency’s branches in Lincolnshire including in the market town of Stamford and its two satellite villages, Oakham and Bourne.

Treadwell (main picture) began his career with Newton Fallowell in 2007 starting out as a branch manager at its Grantham office.

He opened his first Newton Fallowell office in Stamford in 2014, and since then has opened a branch Oakham and in 2018, later acquiring the Bourne office.

“Winning the Newton Fallowell Franchisee of the Year Gold Award really was the icing on the cake, but I have to say that this was all down to a real family effort,” he says.

“Without the support of Laura, my business partner and wife, along with our four children, Dylan, Rhys, Isla & Laurie, I’d not be able to give it my all.”

Judges for the annual awards gave seven awards to his teams in sales, lettings, and financial services.

Best year ever

During the evening the firm’s MD David Spackman (main picture, right) said last year was the best year ever for residential sales.

Spackman said he was emotional about seeing all the Newton Fallowell in one place after so many months of enforced Covid social distancing.

“I personally found it very moving to see everyone in person after such a long time,” he said.

The other Franchise of the Year winners Ben Oglesbee and Matt Holland from Boston, Horncastle & Spilsby who won Silver Franchise of the Year, and John Kidney from Retford who won the Bronze.
