BIGVU video recording technology image A popular US smartphone app which is a ‘TV studio in your pocket’ is catching on among estate agents over here to record property tours, it has been claimed.

BIGVU is a US-based video recording and editing suite that can be used on a smartphone and already has 500,000 users across the globe.

The app enables agents to make professional-looking video content for their social media, blogs and websites without the need for standalone cameras and lighting, and also has an on-screen teleprompt facility so agents can read a script while looking at the camera.

This, BIGVU claims helps users ‘stop themselves rambling’ which, a quick trawl through some agent videos, is a common mistake.

The platform’s users can pull out quotes and clips to use on social media, and the app allows content to be uploaded automatically to a range of different social media platforms including Facebook, YouTube, Whatsapp, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter and Linkedin.

The service costs between £12 and £120 a month to use depending on the level of usage and sophistication required, and the number of users.
