Property giant launches drone inspection service for residential properties
Cushman & Wakefield says footage will be used for both property management and marketing purposes on behalf of clients.
One of the world’s largest property management firm is to begin using drones to inspect both residential and commercial properties.
Cushman & Wakefield has told The Negotiator that its new service will include residential buildings such as apartment blocks.
The service is provided via its agreement with drone services firm FairFleet and will cover its operations in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Canada.
Fairfleet operates a global network of certified local drone pilots
as well as image and video processing and analysis capabilities.
Its drones will be used by Cushman & Wakefield to inspect properties without the often expensive need for rooftop cranes or abseiling personnel.
The drones are also to be used to create marketing footage for the estate agency’s sales and lettings team.
