‘The New Year will be tough, but good agents will embrace it’

Mike Nettleton, Agent Response co-founder and Nock Deighton Chairman, says 2023 will be tough but it will be a market that good agents have been waiting for.

Agent Response has seen rapid growth over the last 12 months and 2023 is only going to get better, according to co-founder Mike Nettleton.

The Midlands-based lead management, automation, and phone answering platform is already being used by hundreds of sales and lettings agents across the UK.

PRE-QUALIFY

The platform helps generate increased revenue from sales leads, pre-qualify lettings leads, and improve operational efficiencies – saving both time and money.

Nettleton (pictured), also Chairman of six-branch Shropshire and Worcestershire estate agency Nock Deighton, says: “Having worked as a sales and lettings agent for well over two decades, I knew from my personal experience that there is a huge gap between data and delivery.

“Agent Response essentially takes a huge load off lettings agents by asking pre-qualifying questions and capturing valuable data before an enquiry is even made. For sales, it harnesses the data to boost revenue potential that may otherwise be missed and making the process as straight-forward as possible.”

For every scenario we have built it and what we have built is a monster.”

Nettleton unashamedly says that “there’s a mountain of things to climb when you look at lead management” but that “for every scenario we have built it and what we have built is a monster.”

He adds: “It’s a really simple tool that does everything that you want it to. From my own point of view running a six-branch estate agency it’s saves us £40,000 a year.

OPPORTUNITIES

“Sales are often polluted with opportunities but a lot of the time agents can’t see the wood from the trees.”

Nettleton says 2023 will certainly bring opportunities and that as an agent “the market previously was so easy it was actually a problem”.

What we are going to see is sales boards starting to appear again but skilled agents will do alright.

“Sure, the market is going to be tough but if you’re good enough then this is what you have been waiting for. “
