IAD, the international self-employed estate agency that has recently launched in the UK, recorded sales of 536 million euros across 65,000 transactions at the close of its financial year on 30th June 2023, official results say.

Last month The Neg reported on IAD’s expansion into the UK market after it acquired self-employed agency platform David Lee estate agents for an undisclosed sum.

This deal remains at an early stage – since acquisition and re-brand to IAD on July 13th they have sold 22 properties, gained 50 new instructions, and completed 15 exchanges.

Nevertheless there are now 20,000 agents working under the IAD brand worldwide, an increase of almost 100% since 2020, while it has more than doubled its annual revenue since 2019.

EIGHT COUNTRIES

The group now operates in eight countries and offers agents the opportunity to develop their business anywhere in the world.

IAD was founded in France in 2008 during one of the worst global real estate crises in history.

Clément Delpirou (main picture), President of the IAD Group, says that its most recent results are proof, if needed, that it’s agency model is agile, resilient and increasingly attractive to property professionals with no overheads, no need to buy a franchise, shared costs, a generous commission split and absolute professional and financial freedom.

He says: “Against a backdrop of strong market tension, these figures prove the effectiveness of our model, which meets both the needs of the consumer and the expectations of property professionals.”

WIN-WIN SYSTEM

And he adds: “Our model is based on a win-win system: it sets industry professionals free by enabling them to set up their own business at low cost, with commission sharing among the most attractive on the market. It also enhances customers’ purchasing power by offering local expertise at the right price.”
