Utilities management firm expands further into lettings sector

Helpthemove boss Stephen Henesy says agents can concentrate more on their landlords by reducing time spent on administrative tasks.

Helpthemove has upped its lettings footprint after partnering with hundreds of new propelrty firms during the first half of 2023.

The utilities management provider helps agents cut down on paperwork and new clients onboarded so far this year include Property Store; Cullen Property; Cairn; Property Stop; Hunters Castleford; Sarah Mains and Pygott Crone.

Helpthemove is also cementing its expertise in the Build-to-Rent sector by securing numerous contracts with the likes of Sigma Capital Group; Urban Bubble; Fizzy Living; I Live Around, Heimstaden and Dandara Living.

Elsewhere, Helpthemove has forged partnerships with several social housing providers including North Lanarkshire Council; West Dunbartonshire Council; Canterbury City Council; Caerphilly County Borough and Ipswich Council.

West Dunbartonshire Council is one of Scotland’s largest council areas and Housing Monitoring Officer Helen Black says: “We found utility management for vacant properties a significant challenge, demanding excessive time and causing avoidable rental losses.
