An award-winning independent estate agency known for its eye-catching marketing is set to open its third branch in less than 18 months.

Branded as Hat and Home, the agent only opened its doors in February last year, but already has two existing high street locations in Wokingham and Crowthorne, Berkshire, which were both opened last year.

Hat and Home now has a third office at The Lexicon retail centre in Bracknell (main pic and inset).  The 2000-sq ft premises features the company’s signature bowler hat light fittings and exposed brick walls.

Hat and Home is well known for its distinctive marketing campaign featuring a bowler hat morphed into other objects which represent its proposition and service offering.

Cleaned up

Founder Ben Gee (pictured) says: “Bracknell is a great fit for Hat and Home and we can’t wait to get the office open for our customers. The re-fit will take a few weeks, but we are already listing properties to sell and let for people wanting to take advantage of our introductory rates.”

Gee has over 20 years’ experience in the property sector. After stints at Romans and Foxtons, he spent 13 years at Marsh & Parsons, and was regional sales director until he left in December 2020 to set up Hat and Home.

The estate agency cleaned up at The Negotiator Awards last November, with a hat trick – three Gold Awards, an unprecedented achievement for a new agency.

It has made a name for itself with its hat-themed branding, promotional items and advertising, which earned it the three Gold gongs at the awards, including Marketing Campaign of the Year.
