Agents urged to help children through Project Spot

Estate agents across the UK are supporting a fast selling children’s book which promotes a positive mindset. The book, Spot the Different is by property writer and PR man Jerry Lyons.

Its first print run sold out in five weeks thanks to agencies buying copies to donate to local primary schools and nurseries.

The book tells the tale of a young girl, Lucy, who is scared about not fitting in, who meets a magical ladybird called Spot who shows her to be proud of herself – embrace the differences in others.

Agencies who want to get involved in the Project Spot still can. Jerry said: “I want to get the book’s message about inclusivity and being yourself into as many young minds as possible. I need more agencies to jump aboard. I’ve been blown away by the initial fantastic support of agents.”

Andrew Tully, of Newberry Tully Estate Agents in Seaford, one of a dozen companies like Cooper Adams, Knightsbridge Estates and the Land and New Homes Network to get involved, said, “We brought 40 copies to donate to four primary schools in our town, it’s been a success for us.”

Jerry wrote the book as bedtime story for his seven year old daughter Charlotte. He will provide a free PR support package for agencies who get involved. £1 from each £6.99 sale of Spot the Different is donated to The Children’s Literacy Charity. Get involved!
