The company behind hybrid agency Easyproperty.com has hired its Rightmove account manager to be its new business development chief.

Dawn Griffin, who until now had been one of the portal’s most long-standing key account managers and who covered the South of England, is joining property services giant Evolve Partnership and is now be the firm’s business development manager at its unusual HQ within a converted barn in Southwick, near Portsmouth.

For two years Dawn was the main point of contact for Evolve, which within its portfolio of services enables agents to ‘get more’ from their Rightmove listings.

“I am pretty delighted to have Dawn as part of my Senior Management team and consider her the best account manager I have worked with in many years,” says Evolve’s National Sales Director, Jason Bull (left).

“For two years [Evolve founder] David Brierley and I have said after every meeting with Dawn that she’d be great here and would be perfect for our business and culture.”

Griffin is well respected within the industry, so much so that several former colleagues and rivals at Rightmove and OnTheMarket have taken to social media to wish her well in her new job.

She joins a company going through unusual times. In July Evolve announced that it had bought Easyproperty off the Guild’s parent company eProp Services for an undisclosed sum.

The company also has the direct financial support of the ‘Easy’ empire founder Sir Stelio Jaji-Ionnou in its bid to expand the Easyproperty network.
