Zoopla parent ZPG rebrands property division as ‘Houseful’

ZPG, which owns Zoopla, has renamed its property to reflect the way the business has evolved.

Zoopla parent company ZPG is changing the name of its property division, which from today will be known as ‘Houseful’.

The firm says the new name “better reflects its evolution” from a property website to a business with a much broader offering.

As well as Zoopla, Houseful’s brands include software platform Alto, valuations supplier Hometrack and upmarket agent Prime Location.

Half of all UK housing transactions already use Houseful software, the company says, alongside 18 of the top 20 lenders.

ZPG stresses customers will experience no change in the way they interact with individual brands.

Charlie Bryant, CEO of Houseful, says: “We believe a more connected property market makes for better home choices, experiences, and businesses.

The whole business is excited and energised by the opportunities”

“The whole business is excited and energised by the opportunities unlocked by our new company name and brand, which better showcases the breadth of the solutions we are delivering into the market,” he says.

“While this is exciting news, it’s very much business as usual as our teams continue to serve our customers with the solutions they are using to run their business today.”

Outsource

ZPG also owns other well-known brands such as price comparison website Uswitch and finance site Money.co.uk.

In May, Zoopla revealed plans to outsource its customer service team to contact centre specialist company Ventrica.

The software support offered to the Alto, Jupix, and CFP Winman packages are part of the operation moving as well.
