Bullish Dexters reports bumper boost in revenue and profits
The estate agency has reported a 23% rise in revenue for the fast-growing independent London estate agency group, hitting £222 million during 2024.
Dexters’ annual results reveal a ‘strong performance’ from both its sales and lettings activities, with revenue and profits up, says CEO Andy Shepherd (pictured).
The estate agency has continued its year-on-year growth, announcing a 23% rise in revenue to £222 million (2023: £181m) with underlying operating profit up 17% to £47.2 million (2023: £40.4m) in its 2024 report and accounts.
There has also been a 31% increase in lettings revenues, which have increased from £104.6 million to £137.2 million. Revenue from the sector accounted for 62% of total revenue during the 2024 financial year, up from 58% in 2023, and residential sales revenue increased by 7% from £63.5 million to £68.1 million.
Expanding network
Dexters says that its strong performance has been driven by the expansion of its London office network, which has helped increase its market share.
And, with the recent purchase of East London agency, Keatons, the agency adds that it will continue to focus on organic growth and acquisitions across the Capital.
