Sales progression platform Mio is to be rolled out across one of the UK’s largest conveyancing businesses as it reveals that 1,200 branches are now using its service.

Countrywide Conveyancing Services (CCS), which has been sharing its data with the tech platform for some time now, says it will soon be able to offer all parties who use its business a shared view of each chain.

These include buyers, sellers, agents, mortgage brokers and conveyancers.

CCS holds 1.7% of the residential transaction market, or approximately 16,000 property sale every year, its latest annual results revealed.

Launched two years ago in the Cardiff/Bristol area but now increasingly national in reach, Mio offers all players within a transaction a transparent view of how it is progressing both via its app or website.

Mio, which has been developed jointly by TMG Group and Connells, says 100,000 sales have been facilitated via its service so far and that the drop-through rate has been 17%, much lower than the industry standards of 25-30%.

“Giving our conveyancing team access to the mio chain view to improve visibility across the chain was a logical next step which will help to make our customers’ dream move happen, quicker.

“Conveyancing can be a challenge for all parties involved and achieving this industry first, in partnership with Mio, underlines our commitment to making home moving simpler and quicker, delivering massive benefits for all involved.”
