‘Now no reason why agents should see long transaction times on any sale’
Ben Ridgway, Co-founder of Iamproperty, says news service will see easier, speedier and more successful private treaty sales.
A ‘conveyancing ready’ service has been launched by proptech firm Iamproperty promising easier, speedier and more successful private treaty sales for estate agents.
Called Premium Conveyancing and provided by its established Movebutler platform, Iamproperty’s Co-founder Ben Ridgway, says the new service offers the same benefits of auction transactions by gathering all legal information upfront and addressing standard enquiries earlier in the process.
“There is now no reason why estate agents should see drawn out transaction times on any sale, which ensures happier customers, more repeat business and a much more efficient business model.
“With our exchange-ready Premium Conveyancing service, all the legal information, including a pre-sale title check, legal searches review, and raising and addressing standard enquiries are completed upfront, minimising unnecessary delays and helping to reduce the chances of a sale falling through.”
Material information
“We anticipate that this will be a very welcome update as consumers are becoming more aware of the value of material information,” he adds.
“Our own research found that 92% agree that having material information provided upfront would greatly improve the home moving experience.”
An 18-month pilot conducted with several agents who executed over 150 sales shows the new service reduces transaction timescales by five weeks on average, with a typical completion being delivered in 79 days.
“From day one, our mission has been to modernise the property market by pioneering new methods and bringing much-needed speed and security to the industry,” says Ridgway.
“We’ve dominated the auction market over the last 15 years, seeing agents and consumers benefit from faster and more secure transactions partly down to the provision of comprehensive Auction Packs with more information upfront.”
