Venerable upmarket estate agency and OnTheMarket.com founder Strutt & Parker has returned to Zoopla after a three-year hiatus, it has been announced.

The French-owned firm will now list with ZPG’s Zoopla and PrimeLocation websites with immediate effect, some 33 months after it said the company had “the best overall digital strategy in place”.

Clearly times have changed for the company, which was one of the founders of OnTheMarket that closely supported both its launch and stockmarket debut earlier this year.

The firm’s 48 offices across the UK are joined by several traditional and franchised estate agency branches including the ten offices of Featherstone Leigh, Victor Michael and The Scottish Property Centre plus several franchised branches of Hunters, Winkworth and Northwood.

Strutt & Parker at the time of OnTheMarket’s launch said “our clients will always be our number one priority, and after much deliberation and careful analysis of web traffic and number of leads generated to our clients, we have decided that this is the best possible combination of portals.”The company will now list on all three main portals.

Guy Robinson, Head of Residential at Strutt & Parker (pictured, left) said, “We’re very pleased to be returning to ZPG and advertising our listings to the valuable Zoopla and PrimeLocation audience again. We have seen other firms benefit from this exposure and we feel it is the right time for us to reintroduce it to our clients.

“Strutt & Parker now lists on all the major portals, including OnTheMarket, Rightmove and Zoopla, offering our clients maximum reach and high quality leads, as well as greater choice for consumers.”

“[We are] a founder member of OnTheMarket, and affirm [our] long term commitment to the property portal, which has expanded its business and continues to offer excellent services to estate agents and clients.”

Charlie Bryant, MD of ZPG Property Services, says: “We’re delighted to welcome all new and returning members to our platform. Our members enjoy the best value digital marketing along with a wide range of additional services and data to help them gain exposure, win business and generate additional revenues.”

OnTheMarket statement

A spokesperson for OnTheMarket said: “Strutt & Parker remains a very strong supporter and investor in OnTheMarket and has recently signed a 5-year listing agreement with us.”
