SAVA graduate joins RICS
A student at the SAVA School of Surveying has become the first to achieve the Diploma in Residential Surveying and Valuation and be welcomed into RICS.
The student completed both training and assessment for the diploma in just 15 months, achieving the qualification in December 2015. Since then, he has been accepted into RICS as an Associate member and will begin his career with the AssocRICS designation after his name. The news comes just 18 months after the school’s launch in 2014.
Hilary Grayson, Head of Surveying Services at the SAVA School of Surveying, comments:
“This was a very momentous day and my heartfelt congratulations go to this student and everyone in the SAVA team for this significant achievement. He was a dedicated student and really immersed himself in the qualification so we are pleased to see him progress so quickly. May he be the first of many!
“It is gratifying to know that, working with SAVA, we can unlock the potential of new surveyors – people who will undoubtedly be a real credit to the profession but for whom the traditional routes to membership are closed.”
