Letting agents who use OnTheMarket subsidiary and proptech platform Teclet can now complete tenancy deposit protection via TDS with a few clicks of their mouse.

The new service follows Teclet’s adoption of the ‘plug-and-play’ TDS API which simplifies the transfer of tenancy deposit data from a CRM database onto the deposit scheme’s platform.

Until fairly recently agents have found that lodging rental deposits with the approved government deposit protection schemes like TDS has been tediously manual, time-consuming and often involving the duplicate inputting of information into different systems, something the API created by TDS solves.

It also add to the Teclet promise to help agents streamline their operations when completing both pre-tenancy, property management and end-of-tenancy tasks.

“Through the development of our API, our tech team has ensured that the registration process is as streamlined as possible, to give agents and landlords an optimum start to their tenancies.

“Our goal is to continue to make tenancy deposit protection as fast, secure and compliant as possible.”

“We pride ourselves on our service delivery and our commitment to make life easier for everyone in the lettings process.

“Teclet’s integration with our API will enable that service delivery to improve further and benefit all stakeholders.”

OTM bought Teclet in March last year.
