Challenger portal Boomin is giving agents a sneak peak of its new Christmas TV ad due to air during Boxing Day on Channel 4.

The ad, which is in the same amusing vein as its first ‘good things happen’ creative launched in April, plugs the portal’s SmartVal mobile phone app with a new ‘get there before they do’ tagline, all set at the North Pole.

Featuring a Brummie couple setting their washing out in an icy front garden, they inform an exhausted and desperate Arctic explorer he’s not first to get there.

The company’s saturation advertising and memorable ads have helped it achieve brand awareness among over half the public.

At the heart of the new campaign is the proposition that, for both agents and customers, Boomin gets you ‘ahead of the market’ with its unique features including Secret Property, Sneak Peak, MatchMaker, ChainMaker and SmartVal.

As with all Boomin campaigns it will run across all key channels including video on demand, YouTube, social media and radio.

boomin“We’re proud of what we’ve already achieved with our launch advertising; over 55% of UK adults recognise our brand and that’s growing every week,” says its Chief Marketing Officer Phil Lloyd (pictured).

“This new campaign is the next step on our journey; simple, humorous and positive. And it focuses on what’s the most important component of a tight market with limited stock; Boomin gets you ahead.”

“Creativity is in our DNA as a business; we have so many more exciting initiatives launching soon.”

Boomin CEO Michael Bruce says the portal is due to announced more tools in the New Year.
